Pastry Chef de Partie

We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and hardworking Pastry Production Team Member to join our high-volume catering and production kitchen. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys producing consistent, high-quality pastries, and takes pride in organization and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Prepare large batches of pastry items according to standardized recipes.
Produce scones, cakes, pies, cookies, bars, muffins, and other baked goods for high-volume catering and retail production.
Scale, mix, portion, bake, decorate, and package products while maintaining consistent quality.
Follow production schedules and meet daily deadlines.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout the shift.
Properly label, rotate, and store products following food safety standards.
Assist with ingredient preparation, inventory organization, and general kitchen support.
Lift and transport ingredients, sheet pans, and supplies weighing up to 40 pounds.
Work collaboratively with the pastry team while remaining productive and self-directed.

Qualifications

Previous professional bakery, pastry, or catering experience preferred.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure without sacrificing quality.
Strong attention to detail and consistency.
Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced production environment.
Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
Flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
