Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and maintain a positive and trusting rapport with each patient, fostering a therapeutic alliance that encourages open communication.

• Diagnose a variety of mental health disorders and collaboratively develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that align with each client’s unique needs and circumstances.

• Engage in regular counseling sessions with individuals and couples, providing consistent support and adjusting treatment goals as necessary based on client progress.

• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor each client's development, adapting therapeutic interventions as required to meet their evolving needs.

• Lead integrative therapy sessions aimed at helping clients navigate their emotional struggles and achieve real-world solutions to their challenges.

• If applicable, refer clients to specialized services such as substance abuse clinics or support groups to enhance their treatment experience.

• Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Flourish Counsel Connect, your clientele will primarily consist of individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship challenges, mental health disorders, and life transitions. You will work with a diverse population, which may include those facing issues such as anxiety, depression, family conflict, trauma, and addiction. Your expertise will empower clients to foster healthier relationships and improve their overall mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Illinois is required.
\n
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
\n
• Demonstrated training or experience in addiction counseling is strongly preferred to effectively support clients facing these challenges.

• Strong therapeutic skills and the capacity to motivate and inspire clients towards meaningful change.
\n
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in outpatient therapy settings and familiarity with evidence-based practices tailored to substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

• Experience with client groups dealing with family therapy, parenting issues, and relational dynamics.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Flourish Counsel Connect offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, you will receive:
