Work Environment

As a full-time Physical Therapist at our Brookhaven Rehabilitation Center, you will work closely with an experienced team of healthcare professionals, including physical, occupational, and speech therapists. Our facility is designed to create a welcoming and efficient environment for both our patients and staff. Operating Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, we maintain a reasonable caseload that enables therapists to give each patient the attention they deserve while promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans that promote recovery and enhance functional outcomes.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, ensuring a personalized approach to each patient.

• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, utilizing clinical judgment to adjust treatment strategies as necessary to optimize recovery.

• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, effective post-treatment care, and wellness strategies to empower them in their recovery.

• Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care, enhancing overall treatment effectiveness.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation in line with clinic policies and regulatory standards, safeguarding compliance and quality of care.

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy practices, incorporating new techniques and evidence-based methods into your delivery of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus is primarily on outpatient rehabilitation, treating a diverse patient population with a variety of orthopedic conditions. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, chronic pain issues, and other musculoskeletal challenges. You will have the opportunity to positively impact your patients' lives as you guide them through their rehabilitation journey, helping them return to the activities they love.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York.

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree considered highly preferred.

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, although new graduates with relevant clinical rotations may also be considered.

• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced outpatient environment is a plus. Familiarity with the latest rehabilitation technologies and continuing education in specialized therapy areas will enhance your contributions to our team.

Compensation and Benefits

At BodySync PT, we offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
