Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Strengthen Physical Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of residents to assess their physical capabilities and identify individual treatment needs.
• Creating and implementing personalized treatment plans focused on enhancing strength, mobility, and functional independence.
• Utilizing various therapeutic modalities, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and assistive technologies, to address specific physical impairments.

• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves adults requiring rehabilitation following surgeries, injuries, or chronic illnesses, with a strong focus on the geriatric population. You will work with residents ranging from post-operative recovery patients to those with age-related mobility challenges, tailoring approaches to meet each individual's unique needs and encouraging independence with daily activities.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York State.
• Completion of a Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
