Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, where you will engage with patients in their homes, allowing for individualized care tailored to each patient's unique living environment. You will work Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, facilitating rehabilitative sessions that not only aim to restore physical function but also provide education and encouragement to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and effectively address each patient's specific goals related to mobility and functionality during every session.
• Manage a personalized caseload, typically seeing one patient per hour to ensure high-quality, focused care.
• Develop detailed, patient-centered care plans that integrate various treatment techniques and modalities.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions and proactive communication to monitor patient progress continuously.
• Implement cost-effective therapeutic techniques to enhance range of motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Create personalized fitness and wellness programs, adapting them as necessary to meet each patient's changing needs.
• Educate patients on healthy lifestyle habits, emphasizing the importance of strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care and a cohesive treatment approach.
• Thoroughly document all sessions and maintain clear, accurate patient records.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their recovery, fostering a positive and encouraging treatment experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on serving individuals requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Each patient's treatment plan will be developed with their unique clinical needs and personal goals in mind, enabling you to make a profound difference in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid State license as a Physical Therapist with a clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques and patient assessment.
• Proficiency in developing and executing tailored exercise protocols that promote healing and recovery.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for managing patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
