Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' backgrounds and trauma history, with an emphasis on creating personalized care plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a supportive space for patients to process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and foster personal growth.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and well-coordinated care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive immediate assistance and care.

Your primary focus will be on patients affected by various trauma-related conditions, including PTSD, anxiety disorders stemming from trauma, and complex trauma conditions. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
