Work Environment\n

This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing you to interact with students, families, and colleagues through digital platforms. However, our state-of-the-art outpatient office exists for occasions when in-person activities are necessary. Your normal work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts to ensure comprehensive student support. Your expertise will be vital during urgent scenarios, requiring some on-call availability to promptly respond to mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, considering their unique histories and concerns to gather essential data for effective treatment planning.

• Collaborate with students to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address individual mental health issues and promote resilience and personal growth.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused Therapy, to effectively address a range of mental health challenges.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at improving emotional regulation, promoting coping strategies, and fostering a sense of community among peers.

• Work in tandem with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners, to ensure an integrated approach to student care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and de-escalation during emergencies, making appropriate referrals to higher levels of care when necessary.

• Educate students and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and resources available within the community, empowering them to take an active role in their care.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
