This role is primarily remote, offering flexibility to manage your hours while aligning with our outpatient office operations. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify mental health status, concerns, and individualized treatment needs.

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, addressing a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, both individual and group, to equip clients with tools and coping strategies necessary for recovery and personal growth.

• Collaborate with external healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure integrated care and support continuity in treatment.

• Document all patient interactions and progress in a timely manner within our electronic health record system, adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Utilize strong crisis intervention techniques to assist clients in immediate distress, employing de-escalation strategies and providing emergency resources when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals struggling with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and other complex mental health challenges. Our clients range from adolescents to adults, providing a rich and varied environment that highlights the importance of cultural competence and individualized care.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, with a strong foundation in diverse therapeutic modalities.

• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, along with cultural responsiveness in therapeutic settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
