Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist in our outpatient office, you will work alongside a team of two experienced physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Our collaborative approach fosters a supportive and engaging atmosphere that encourages professional growth and teamwork among healthcare professionals. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing you with a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the objectives and requirements of each patient, ensuring a holistic approach to their rehabilitation.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, delivering focused and individualized therapy sessions.
• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing a diverse array of techniques targeted toward improving mobility and functionality.
• Offer alternative solutions to pain management, reducing the reliance on medications and unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, emphasizing the importance of self-management and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal integration of services and comprehensive care.
• Assess treatment effectiveness, track patient progress, and maintain thorough documentation of services provided.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date on best practices and emerging treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will engage with are typically those recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, and general musculoskeletal conditions. Your role is critical in helping these individuals achieve their personal best, regaining strength, flexibility, balance, and mobility. By tailoring fitness and wellness programs to the specific needs of each patient, you can significantly enhance their quality of life and functional abilities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to undertake this role effectively.
• Active certification as a licensed Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• Clean professional record with no board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and specialized treatment modalities.
• Strong skills in designing and implementing tailored exercise regimens that promote rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience utilizing EMR platforms to streamline patient care and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
