Work Environment

Located onsite in beautiful Chula Vista, our rehabilitation facility offers a supportive and collaborative work environment. You will enjoy a well-organized schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to focus on providing individualized care without the stress of erratic hours. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to understand their mobility limitations and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Administer effective, evidence-based physical therapies aimed at enhancing patients' range of motion and mobility, minimizing the need for medication or surgical procedures.
• Design individualized fitness and wellness programs tailored specifically to each patient's needs, supporting their path to recovery.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, seeing one patient per hour to ensure comprehensive treatment and engagement.
• Document patient progress meticulously to ensure accurate records and compliance with treatment protocols.
• Regularly reassess progress against treatment goals and adjust therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, facilitating a holistic approach to patient care.
• Motivate and guide patients continuously through their rehabilitation process to maximize their functionality.
• Encourage a proactive attitude toward maintaining fitness, strength, flexibility, and coordination among patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, offering a wide range of orthopedic rehabilitation services. You will work with patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions, striving to enhance their quality of life and mobility. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensing as a Physical Therapist in California.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions associated with your license.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based rehabilitation strategies.
• Familiarity with designing and implementing tailored exercise programs.
• Experienced in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software such as WebPT for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in patient engagement and recovery outcomes through effective therapy techniques.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
