Strive Rehabilitation Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in San Diego, California. Work Environment

This position is based onsite, with an emphasis on patient care within the home environment. You will work standard hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience and the opportunity to make meaningful connections with patients in their own surroundings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their unique needs, setting personalized goals that align with their desired outcomes.
• Manage a caseload of patients, ensuring that each individual receives one-on-one attention during their scheduled treatment hour.
• Leverage your experience in orthopedic outpatient care to provide specialized treatments that promote recovery and mobility.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to offer effective treatment modalities aimed at enhancing patients' functional outcomes while reducing dependency on medications.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's specific requirements.
• Develop fitness and wellness programs that encourage patients to pursue a healthier lifestyle, focusing on enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Engage in collaborative teamwork with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effects, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans accordingly, maintaining open communication with all stakeholders.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatments provided and progress notes, adhering to policies and regulations to enhance care continuity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient base consists primarily of individuals with orthopedic injuries or conditions. These patients are often motivated to participate in their rehabilitation journey, requiring a therapist who is skilled at providing encouragement and steady progress tracking. The role also demands a focus on developing non-surgical alternatives and addressing potential barriers to movement.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree earned from an accredited institution.
• Active California state license as a Physical Therapist, with no prior disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a history of applying manual techniques effectively for patient benefit.
• Expertise in creating and implementing tailored exercise routines that optimize recovery.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software such as WebPT, demonstrating proficiency in its use.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working specifically within orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• A solid track record of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Ability to develop innovative treatment plans that cater to a diverse range of orthopedic conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 125,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus full benefits that include health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
