Pay & Benefits

Hourly Pay Rate: $48.24

What You'll Do

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including reading ECG strips and managing cardiac drips
• Provide patient care for transplant, med-surg, and telemetry patients, including those with CHF, COPD, and other diagnoses
• Administer medications and perform IV initiation, wound care, phlebotomy, and support with chest tubes or peritoneal dialysis
• Support patient safety and comfort while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech Expanse EMR
• Follow unit-specific protocols for patient care and safety
• Support float opportunities across other units as needed, maintaining flexibility and professional versatility

What You Need

• Required: Active Louisiana RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, at least 1 year of recent acute care RN experience, ability to pass EKG competency exam prior to assignment, skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV insertion, and patient assessment
• Preferred: Previous telemetry experience, experience with transplant or cardio-pulmonary units
