Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging group sessions that promote connection and open dialogue among clients, helping them to share experiences and learn from one another in a supportive atmosphere.

• Individual Therapy: Provide tailored counseling sessions where you empathetically explore clients' thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, assisting them in developing personalized coping strategies and actionable plans for improvement.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create customized, goal-oriented treatment plans that address their unique challenges and aspirations, ensuring their voices are integral to the planning process.

• Progress Monitoring: Implement assessment tools and feedback methods to effectively track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize their therapeutic journey.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, engaging in regular communications to coordinate care, share insights, and seek consultations on complex cases for the best possible client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Many of these clients are navigating challenges related to mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and other mental health conditions. You will play a critical role in creating a safe and trusting environment, encouraging them to confront their difficulties and cultivate resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) licensure in California.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required, providing the foundational knowledge necessary for effective counseling.

• Experience working with young adults in mental health settings, either residential or outpatient, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
