Role Description The Manager of Business Development & Marketing is a full-time, on-site role based in Rockland, MA. This position is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the commercial construction sector, including retail, restaurant, corporate, and other commercial clients. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and qualifying leads, maintaining a robust pipeline, preparing proposals and presentations, and coordinating with estimating and project management teams to support winning bids. The role also oversees marketing strategy and execution, including managing the company's brand, website, social media, and marketing collateral, and supporting participation in industry events and trade shows. The manager regularly analyzes market trends and competitor activity, maintains CRM data and reporting, and collaborates with leadership to set business development priorities and growth targets.

Qualifications

• Business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, client relationship building, and proposal preparation.
• Marketing strategy and execution skills, such as brand management, content creation, digital marketing, and campaign coordination.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical and non-technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical and planning skills, including market research, competitor analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting.
• Experience in commercial construction, architecture, engineering, or related industries is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and common marketing tools or platforms.
