Registered Nurse

Mission Health, based in Asheville, NC, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services department. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse will provide high-quality, patient-centered care across a variety of clinical settings, ensuring that each patient receives safe, evidence-based, and individualized treatment. Working within a collaborative culture that emphasizes teamwork, respect, and professional growth, the RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with diverse medical needs, while serving as a patient advocate and an essential communication link between patients, families, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team. The Registered Nurse at Mission Health will perform comprehensive patient assessments, interpret clinical data, and develop care plans that align with best practices and organizational standards. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient responses and vital signs, coordinating diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and documenting all aspects of care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record. The RN will educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions to support informed decision-making and promote optimal outcomes. In this role, the RN will collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, pharmacists, and support staff to ensure seamless, coordinated care. The nurse will participate in interdisciplinary rounds, contribute to care conferences, and support quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety, clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction. The RN will adhere to all regulatory and infection prevention standards, follow established policies and protocols, and actively identify and report changes in patient condition, escalating concerns appropriately.
