Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients suffering from orthopedic injuries, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient assessments, focusing on mobility, strength, and functional recovery.
• Utilize various modalities including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to facilitate patient recovery.
• Closely monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on outcomes and feedback to ensure effective rehabilitation.
• Educate patients on injury prevention techniques and effective home exercise programs to promote independence and long-term health.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date patient records, adhering to all healthcare regulations and standards for documentation.
• Participate in departmental meetings to discuss patient care strategies and contribute to continuous clinical improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily involves working with adult patients experiencing orthopedic conditions such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. You will play a critical role in helping individuals regain functionality and improve their quality of life through tailored rehabilitation programs. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current, active Physical Therapist (PT) license in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in physical therapy, specifically within ortho and outpatient settings.
• Proficient in orthopedic assessment techniques and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex medical concepts in understandable terms.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage a diverse caseload efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Familiarity with orthopedic surgical protocols and rehabilitation pathways.
• Prior experience in multidisciplinary team environments with a focus on collaborative care.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapy areas (e.g., manual therapy, sports therapy) are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
