Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Harmony Ridge Care Wellness, you will undertake various responsibilities aimed at improving patient outcomes, which include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs and collaboratively developing personalized treatment plans that address their specific circumstances.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, in individual, couple, and family settings.

• Facilitating psychoeducational workshops and support groups that encourage shared experiences among patients, providing valuable information and fostering a sense of community.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to create and implement coordinated treatment approaches that reflect best practices in mental health care.

• Providing crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing acute mental health challenges, ensuring they are met with understanding and effective guidance during emergencies.

• Educating clients about their mental health conditions and the various treatment options available, empowering them to make informed choices about their paths to recovery.

• Maintaining meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in electronic health records (EHR).

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders and therapeutic techniques, backed by a minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
