Associate Strategic Client Executive

Position Overview The Associate Strategic Client Executive (Associate SCE) will serve as Zelis' primary point of contact for their assigned book of business, driving growth by meeting annual revenue targets, ensuring client retention, and expanding product and service adoption. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Building – maximize breadth and depth of relationships, understand client strategies and challenges, and explain how Zelis supports those goals. Revenue Management – oversee budgets, forecasts, and product utilization for the assigned book. Client Renewals & Retention – facilitate contract negotiations, manage the renewal life cycle, and identify expansion opportunities. Risk Identification & Mitigation – proactively identify and address risks such as volume decreases, service gaps, or changes in client relationships. Product Knowledge & Optimization – drive revenue growth through product optimization, communicate key differentiators, and align solutions with client objectives. Client Growth Opportunities – uncover and qualify growth opportunities, collaborate with sales to present solutions, and identify up‑and cross‑sell prospects. Client Value & Reporting – illustrate and validate outcomes, conduct business reviews, and prepare account plans. Client Advocacy – ensure high‑quality service delivery, timely issue resolution, and nurture clients into loyal promoters; secure references for initiatives and case studies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred. 5+ years in a client‑management role with deep knowledge of the payer space. Experience in healthcare (insurance, cost management, electronic payments, or communications solutions). Demonstrated success in revenue management and utilization increase for mid‑to‑large enterprises. Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and meeting‑management skills. Strong collaboration with Sales, Operations, Product, Services and Marketing. Proven ability to influence senior leadership, synthesize complex data, and communicate insights. Data‑driven mindset and ability to build compelling narratives from trends. Strong listening and multi‑tasking ability; urgency and prioritization. Travel up to 30‑40% domestically; remote eligible. Must not require visa sponsorship. Location & Flexibility Remote. Travel estimated 30‑40% domestic. Compensation Base Salary Range: $95,000.00 – $120,650.00. Total rewards may include discretionary bonuses, commissions, and other incentives.
