Job Details Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nursing Assignment Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Schedule: 12-hour night shifts Hours: 36 hours per week Shifts per Week: Typically 3 shifts per week Duration: 16-18 weeks Rotation: Every other weekend and every other holiday Setting: 24-bed high-acuity ICU with potential overflow capacity Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 Location: Lima, Ohio (45801) - Northwest Ohio healthcare job Job Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact licensure eligibility Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience required ACLS and BLS required NIHSS required Dysrhythmia exam required Experience with critical care equipment and advanced monitoring preferred ECMO experience preferred, but not required Ability to float to other levels of care as needed Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills Responsibilities Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill ICU patients Perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient responses Administer medications and manage complex therapies in accordance with nursing standards Monitor hemodynamics and respond quickly to changing patient conditions Support patients requiring advanced respiratory support and life-sustaining modalities Collaborate closely with intensivists, interdisciplinary team members, and support staff Assist with care related to ventilators, pressors, CRRT, IABP, Impella, SWAN, and ECMO when applicable Promote patient safety, infection control, and quality outcomes at all times Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families during critical illness Apply now to join this ICU Registered Nurse travel assignment in Lima, Ohio and take the next step in your critical care nursing career.
