Position Overview

Reliant Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our Cape Coral, Florida Rehabilitation Center. This full-time onsite position offers an annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience. As a licensed Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering evidence-based treatment to a diverse patient population, contributing to their recovery and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions within our Rehabilitation Center.
• Develop customized treatment plans utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, modalities, and adaptive equipment to enhance mobility and alleviate pain.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques, self-management strategies, and the use of assistive devices to promote independence.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists and healthcare providers, to share insights and enhance continuity of care.
• Stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy by participating in educational workshops, engaging with professional literature, and contributing to team learning initiatives.
• Advocate for and implement appropriate treatment modalities while considering each patient's individual goals and lifestyle.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients represent a broad spectrum, encompassing children to seniors dealing with various health challenges. We are particularly focused on individuals undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries, geriatric concerns, and neurological conditions. Your role will be pivotal in fostering an environment of trust, allowing patients to express their fears and goals, which ultimately enhances therapeutic efficacy.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida is mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with patients and multidisciplinary team members.
• Technological proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and basic computer skills.
• A strong sense of adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced rehabilitation setting.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.
• Experience in implementing individualized care plans and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and techniques in physical therapy.
