Key Responsibilities\n

• Build strong therapeutic relationships with clients to foster trust and openness, crucial for effective counseling.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, ensuring development of personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique situation.

• Lead regular therapy sessions for individuals and couples, guiding them through their mental health journeys and making adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.

• Leverage your expertise in addiction counseling when necessary, understanding the complexities of co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate closely with a diverse array of specialists to ensure comprehensive care for clients, including referrals when additional expertise is needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a varied client demographic, including individuals and families experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges. You will work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, substance use issues, relationship difficulties, and significant life transitions. Your therapeutic approach will prioritize client empowerment, resilience, and the development of coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A valid LMFT license in the state of Massachusetts is required.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.

• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practices in substance abuse treatment and co-occurring disorders.

• Exceptional therapeutic skills with a strong ability to build rapport and motivate clients towards change.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a clinical setting working as an LMFT.
