Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct personalized virtual therapy sessions with cancer patients at various stages of their journey, offering psychological support tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to assist clients in coping with anxiety, depression, and other common mental health issues.

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements and research in oncology-related mental health treatments, integrating innovative strategies into counseling practices to enhance client outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of therapy sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes in compliance with ethical guidelines and best practices in mental health.

• Collaborate proactively with healthcare providers, including oncologists and other mental health professionals, to coordinate holistic care and ensure comprehensive support for clients and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.

• Valid clinical licensure in Washington State as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• Authorization to work in the United States.

Compensation and Benefits\n
