Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine individual mental health needs, ensuring that each client receives a personalized and effective treatment plan.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, to provide therapy to individuals and groups.

• Work in tandem with case managers, school staff, psychiatrists, and other professionals to provide integrated and well-coordinated care for students.

• Facilitate crisis intervention sessions for clients experiencing acute emotional distress, applying effective de-escalation techniques and supportive counseling strategies.

• Engage in outreach initiatives and educational workshops within schools to promote mental health awareness and offer resources to students and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary clients will be students facing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. You will work with individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, enriching your clinical experience and cultural competence.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and active independent license, such as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Completion of a master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related fields is required.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Cultural competence and sensitivity to work effectively with a diverse population.

• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining accurate documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
