Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you to maintain a flexible work-life balance while engaging in meaningful therapeutic activities. As a member of our Mental Health Team, you will collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to deliver optimal care to students. Though the role is primarily virtual, occasional in-person meetings may be required to enhance team collaboration and provide clinical insights.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, evaluating their emotional and psychological needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address specific mental health issues, aiding in the emotional well-being of students.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to students with ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and trauma.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, promoting personal growth, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists, ensuring a comprehensive care model.

• Respond to mental health emergencies, providing crisis intervention and timely support.
\n
• Offer psychoeducation to students and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health conditions and accessible resources.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students with diverse special needs who may face challenges related to ASD, ADHD, emotional and behavioral disorders, and trauma. You will play a pivotal role in facilitating their integration into the educational environment, addressing their unique needs through targeted interventions and ongoing support.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
\n
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and trauma-informed care principles.
\n
• Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and formulating treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

• Experience working in educational settings or with special populations is highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits\n
