Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, identifying their strengths, challenges, and therapeutic needs.
• Create individualized therapy plans tailored to the unique circumstances and goals of each client.
• Deliver evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities that align with best practices.
• Regularly monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their feedback and developments.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure integrated care for clients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress using EHR systems.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision to stay abreast of the latest research and techniques in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client base that may include individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, substance abuse issues, eating disorders, trauma, and other mental health conditions. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure in New York as an LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or LCSW-R.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, directly providing mental health counseling services.
• A strong understanding of mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
• Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and maintaining professional boundaries.

Preferred Experience

Experience in delivering culturally responsive therapy, familiarity with crisis intervention techniques, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits
