Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments through initial consultations and document client histories accurately, ensuring thorough case management from start to finish.

• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of individuals, couples, and families.

• Create detailed treatment and intervention plans, integrating evidence-based methodologies that promote recovery and maintain regular assessment of client progress.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using innovative techniques, ensuring that participants feel safe, heard, and supported.

• Monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, leveraging clinical insights to improve outcomes.

• Engage in interprofessional collaboration with other mental health specialists, primary care providers, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Provide follow-up care for clients as necessary, including updates and consults with psychiatrists and healthcare providers for those requiring hospitalization.

• Educate and support family members and caregivers in navigating mental health challenges, offering resources and strategies to aid recovery.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in mental health counseling, particularly in remote settings.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR or similar platforms.

• Experience in dealing with addiction disorders and an understanding of comorbid physical and emotional health conditions.

• Familiarity with the best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• In-depth knowledge of prescribed medications and their effects as related to mental health treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation package for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, in addition to a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
