Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ eating disorder symptoms and any co-occurring mental health conditions, utilizing established diagnostic criteria and tools.

• Implement various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to address clients’ psychological and behavioral challenges.

• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions that promote discussion about body image issues, self-worth, and the role of food in clients' lives.

• Support clients in cultivating healthy coping strategies, emotional regulation techniques, and actionable plans for resisting disordered eating behaviors.

• Collaborate effectively with the treatment team members—psychiatrists, dietitians, and case managers—to ensure continuity of care and address the holistic needs of clients.

• Provide psychoeducation to both clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of the complexities surrounding eating disorders to strengthen support systems.
