Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of routine and complex clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-following established protocols with a focus on quality.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new personnel, and uphold rigorous lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health degree, plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be achieved within the first year of employment.
• Maintain certification throughout the duration of employment.
