This role offers the flexibility of remote work, enabling therapists to provide vital counseling services from a location of their choice while maintaining a connection with our outpatient office team. Operating within a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., therapists will enjoy a balanced work-life environment while meeting the needs of our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their mental health needs.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, aligning therapeutic goals with their unique preferences and requirements.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote effective symptom management and coping strategies.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and treatment options, empowering them to engage in their recovery process with informed choices and proactive self-care practices.

• Monitor client progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect evolving needs and promote ongoing growth and healing.

• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care across all aspects of a client's treatment plan.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment, integrating new insights to enhance therapeutic strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists primarily work with clients experiencing complex relational issues, including those coping with divorce, relationship strains, and mood disorders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to understanding the diverse backgrounds and challenges faced by families and individuals in crisis, utilizing a compassionate and tailored approach to therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of California.

• Hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
\n
