Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients, including couples and individual family members, to understand their unique situations and needs.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions with couples, providing a safe space for open dialogue and resolution of conflicts.

• Provide individual therapy where necessary, helping clients explore personal issues in the context of family dynamics or personal growth.
\n
• Develop personalized treatment plans that address a variety of issues, including but not limited to: alcohol and substance abuse, grief and loss, emotional distress related to medical conditions, and family conflicts.

• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities to guide sessions, foster healing, and improve overall family functioning.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans in alignment with HIPAA standards.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay informed about the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the organization to enhance treatment outcomes and provide comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including couples experiencing relational distress, families facing communication challenges, individuals undergoing life transitions such as separation and divorce, and children or adolescents dealing with various emotional or psychological hurdles. Your expertise will enable you to address critical issues such as blended families, job stress, and conflicts arising from significant life changes.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this position, you must possess:

• An active and unrestricted license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
