Key Responsibilities\n

• Serve as a critical liaison among students, their families, and outpatient providers to coordinate services and foster effective communication.

• Facilitate interactions with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management, ensuring that clients receive the coverage and support they require.

• Participate actively in discharge and aftercare planning sessions, developing individualized plans that promote long-term success and well-being for students transitioning out of care.

• Provide therapeutic meal support to clients, modeling healthy relationships with food while addressing associated emotional challenges.

• Deliver empathetic and affirming care that acknowledges and respects the diverse identities of each client, tailoring interventions to suit their unique circumstances and backgrounds.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with school-aged children and adolescents within the Anaheim area, addressing a wide spectrum of mental health needs. Your focus will include supporting students grappling with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and family dynamics. You will also work towards fostering resiliency and positive coping strategies in collaboration with educators and parents.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in California is mandatory.
