Key Responsibilities

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging group sessions where young adults can connect, share experiences, and learn from one another. Your role will involve creating a safe environment for open discussions.
• Individual Therapy Sessions: Provide empathetic, one-on-one counseling to help clients thoughtfully explore their thoughts and emotions, while collaboratively developing coping strategies and actionable plans for their ongoing journey.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to establish personalized treatment plans based on their individual aspirations, needs, and preferences, ensuring a holistic approach to their mental health challenges.
• Progress Monitoring: Use assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to evaluate the progress of your clients, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other specialized team members such as psychologists, social workers, and support staff, coordinating care and discussing complex cases to ensure comprehensive treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary client population comprises young adults aged 18 to 30 who are navigating mental health challenges, relationship issues, or transitional life events. Your impact will extend beyond individual therapy as you help these clients cultivate resilience, self-awareness, and healthier coping mechanisms.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in Texas.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for facilitating therapy and building rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with younger populations, particularly in an outpatient or community health setting.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
