Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs and goals.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies based on evidence-based practices for clients in various settings, including individual, couple, and group therapy.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy to address clients' unique challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, ensuring a holistic approach that encompasses all aspects of the client’s well-being.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
• Actively participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry practices and enhance therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, many of whom may be struggling with significant mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma histories, and substance use issues. This role requires a strong commitment to creating a supportive and non-judgmental environment that encourages client growth and resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• A valid and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, preferably within a clinical or outpatient setting.
• Strong expertise in conducting mental health assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively establish rapport with clients and collaborate with colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization or additional training in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling will be highly regarded.
• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for therapy is a plus, as our model emphasizes remote client interaction.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
