Work Environment

This position is designed for remote work, offering a flexible setting that allows you to manage your schedule while maintaining a focus on high-quality client care. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients presenting with mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, gathering vital information related to symptom intensity, frequency, and duration.
• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their individual needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring a tailored therapeutic approach.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progress and healing.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide integrated care and ensure coordinated treatment efforts.
• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, emphasizing the reduction of stigma surrounding mental illness and lifestyle challenges.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the protection of personal information.

Your work will primarily focus on individuals dealing with mood disorders, including clients from diverse backgrounds, such as those experiencing homelessness, survivors of domestic violence, and refugees. Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .

Compensation and Benefits
