Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments to understand each client’s unique mental and emotional health needs.
• Develop tailored treatment plans based on assessment results, client input, and therapeutic best practices.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions for clients of diverse backgrounds and presenting issues, from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship challenges.
• Lead couples therapy sessions focusing on enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and rebuilding relationships for healthier dynamics.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and detailed notes to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular reviews of treatment plans, adapting strategies as clients evolve in their therapeutic journey.
• Deliver crisis intervention effectively with compassion and professionalism, supporting clients experiencing acute distress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic care and seamless resources for clients.
• Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and competencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related discipline.
• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Illinois.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and/or couples therapy, with a focus on evidence-based approaches.
• Effective communication and writing skills, capable of crafting clear and concise documentation within electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with a varied clientele, including both children and adults, is preferred.
• Knowledge of therapeutic interventions and methodologies that enhance client engagement and progress.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote service delivery best practices.

Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
