Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health issues, leading to the development of effective, individualized treatment plans.
• Provide a wide range of therapeutic interventions in individual therapy sessions, using proven methods tailored to each client’s unique experiences and needs.
• Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals, regularly monitoring their progress to adapt treatment approaches as necessary.
• Offer teletherapy services to accommodate clients who prefer virtual support or face accessibility challenges, ensuring that mental health resources are available to all.
• Maintain careful and timely documentation that complies with ethical standards and regulatory requirements, reflecting our dedication to professionalism.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients comprise a diverse group seeking support for a variety of issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. As an LMFT at Delta Area Counseling Center, you will work closely with individuals, couples, and families, providing the guidance and support needed to overcome their unique challenges and promote mental wellness.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license in Florida as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree or a Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Empathy and a non-judgmental approach to clients’ experiences, ensuring they feel safe and supported during their therapy journey.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage caseloads and administrative duties.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working with diverse populations, including different age groups and cultural backgrounds.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 83,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, a sign-on bonus is available to licensed therapists joining our team.
