Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home office. As a Telehealth professional, you will use secure electronic platforms to conduct virtual therapy sessions, making mental health support more accessible to those who may have barriers to in-person visits. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and assessments, ensuring clinical precision in evaluating potential suicide risks and creating appropriate documentation.
• Provide psychotherapy and crisis intervention services, tailoring your approach to fit the unique challenges presented by each client.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary medical and support staff to achieve comprehensive diagnoses and treatment plans for patients with complex psychiatric disorders.
• Develop detailed treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and guidelines, ensuring clients receive high-quality therapeutic support.
• Create clinical reports to document patient care and monitor progress; adhere to ethical standards and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Actively make recommendations to healthcare teams and foster effective communication among all disciplines involved in client care.
• Provide on-call crisis services during the workweek, offering immediate support to clients in need of urgent care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve mothers and other individuals from underserved communities, providing essential mental health support tailored to their unique life circumstances. You will engage with clients who may be facing challenges related to socioeconomic determinants of health, and work collaboratively to empower them through therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited institution.
• An active and independent license to practice in the state of Oregon (LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
• Ability to manage a substantial caseload, demonstrating effective time management while ensuring high standards of client care.
• Strong knowledge of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders and their treatment.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and general computer applications.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in community outreach, mental health assessments, and trauma-informed care is highly preferred, with a solid understanding of the challenges faced by your clientele.
• Previous work experience involving substance abuse counseling and welfare services will be beneficial in addressing the diverse needs of clients.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in collaborating with large healthcare providers and support staff for integrated care.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
