Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Morris Counseling Services, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities that directly contribute to enhancing the mental well-being of our clients:

• Conduct assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of couples and families.
• Facilitate therapy sessions with both couples and individual family members to address complex relationships and emotional concerns.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches to manage and treat a range of issues including, but not limited to:
• Alcohol and substance abuse disorders
• Physical and psychological abuse recovery
• Grief and loss support
• Family conflicts and communication hurdles
• Separation, divorce, and related adjustments
• Challenges faced by blended families
• Job stress and medical-related anxieties
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records while adhering to ethical guidelines and best practices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training to enhance therapy skills and knowledge base.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
