Business Development Representative – Inside & Field Sales

Express Employment Professionals – Tinton Falls is looking for an energetic, outgoing Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us grow throughout Monmouth and Northern Ocean Counties.

This is a prospecting-intensive inside and field sales role , focused on active new-business prospecting . You’ll identify local businesses, make outbound calls, conduct field prospecting and create qualified sales opportunities.

You’ll work closely with our Managing Director, who leads the later-stage sales and closing process, and our recruiting team, which delivers the talent our clients need.

Prior staffing or sales experience is helpful, but not required. We’re looking for energy, initiative, resilience, communication skills, coachability and consistent execution.

What You’ll Do

• Prospect for new business via in-person outreach, phone and electronic means
• Make field visits to businesses throughout the local market
• Connect with business owners, HR and operations leaders
• Identify workforce needs and create qualified appointments
• Consistently follow up and move prospects through the pipeline
• Maintain accurate activity and opportunity information in our CRM
• Participate in local networking and community activities
• Partner with our Managing Director and recruiting team to convert opportunities into successful client relationships

Training & Compensation

• $23–$24/hour , based on experience
