Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to determine physical therapy needs and establish individualized treatment goals.
• Develop and implement effective treatment strategies tailored to each patient's condition, emphasizing evidence-based practices.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, and patient education to facilitate rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress following clinic policy and billing regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary communication and improve overall patient outcomes, participating in team meetings and case discussions.
• Ensure a safe and hygienic clinical environment while managing and maintaining therapy equipment and materials.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy through ongoing education and participation in relevant workshops and training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse range of clients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Our clients come from varied backgrounds with unique challenges, enabling you to apply your knowledge and skills to make a significant positive impact on their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida or eligibility for licensure.
• A demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and a strong team-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in an outpatient or home care environment.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR or similar electronic medical records systems is highly desirable.
• Experience with orthopedic patients and a solid understanding of various treatment modalities and therapeutic exercises.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is competitive, with an annual salary of $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
