Position Overview

Movement System Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist for a full-time position in our outpatient office located in the picturesque Marco Island, Florida. In this role, you will engage in hands-on patient care, utilizing your expertise to assess movement limitations, create personalized rehabilitation plans, and guide patients through their recovery journeys. Our competitive salary ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year , dependent on experience, along with an attractive benefits package.

Work Environment

The selected Physical Therapist will work onsite in our outpatient clinic, specifically designed to foster patient comfort and recovery. Our facility features state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and a welcoming atmosphere. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, with flexibility to choose between 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM shifts, or opting for four 10-hour shifts, making it conducive for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient mobility, functional capabilities, and unique rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement targeted therapy plans that address specific goals and track progress using evidence-based methods.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and exercise programs tailored to each patient's recovery process.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other health professionals to ensure cohesive care and optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about exercise regimens and self-management strategies to facilitate ongoing wellness.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and maintain up-to-date patient records in compliance with best practices and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain issues. This role demands sensitivity to patient concerns and an ability to motivate them through challenging rehabilitation processes. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active Florida Physical Therapist License or eligibility to apply for licensure in the state.

• Demonstrated clinical decision-making skills to tailor treatment plans based on individual patient needs.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required, candidates with a background in outpatient rehabilitation settings, particularly in musculoskeletal disorders, will be highly regarded.
