Work Environment

The position is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, which is equipped with the latest therapy tools and modalities to facilitate effective treatment. Our facility features advanced equipment and a collaborative environment where healthcare professionals work closely together to optimize patient care. The scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced approach to both professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical functions and identify movement dysfunctions.
• Develop and implement targeted treatment strategies tailored to individual patient needs, employing evidence-based practices.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and billing in accordance with clinic guidelines.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care and improved outcomes.
• Achieve clinical productivity benchmarks by efficiently managing patient caseloads and optimizing therapy sessions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through team meetings, in-service training, and participation in program development initiatives.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe clinical environment and assist in the upkeep of therapy equipment to ensure safety and performance standards are met.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients in an orthopedic outpatient setting, which includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. The diversity of our patient population provides a rich opportunity for experience across various demographics and treatment conditions, ensuring challenging and rewarding case management.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required, with a Master's or Doctorate preferred.
• An active Florida Physical Therapy license, or eligibility for licensure, is mandatory.
• A strong team-oriented approach, coupled with a passionate commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR software is advantageous but not essential.

Preferred Experience

• Have at least two years of professional experience in a physical therapy setting, ideally with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated experience in managing a diverse patient caseload and achieving measurable improvements in patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
