Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on fundamental and applied physics topics, including recent developments in the field.
• Analyze experimental data, interpret findings, and support the development of sound physical theories.
• Develop detailed, accessible explanations of complex physics concepts for AI instruction and evaluation.
• Create and curate physics educational content for AI training modules.
• Review AI-generated content for conceptual accuracy, clarity, and scientific rigor.
• Collaborate remotely with project stakeholders to refine deliverables and align work with project objectives.
• Provide written and verbal feedback on research outcomes and physics-related questions through an iterative AI training process.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics or a closely related scientific discipline.
• Experience conducting rigorous scientific research and publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
• Strong grounding in theoretical and experimental physics, with the ability to synthesize and communicate complex ideas.
• Excellent critical-thinking, research, problem-solving, and communication skills, with close attention to detail.
• Interest in science education and outreach.
• Experience developing or teaching physics at the university or advanced undergraduate level is preferred.
• Comfort collaborating remotely on multidisciplinary research projects.

Work Terms

• Remote independent contractor engagement.

Compensation

• $70 to $90 per hour.
