Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions through telehealth platforms, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote client progress.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress in accordance with individualized treatment plans, making adjustments as necessary.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health specialists, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to create comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Communicate with referring physicians and psychiatric professionals about client health status, especially for those recently admitted or discharged from hospital settings.

• Proactively identify and address behaviors that may hinder recovery, providing clients with actionable strategies to overcome these obstacles.

• Support and educate family members and primary caregivers on managing mental health challenges, fostering a holistic approach to client wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a relevant master’s degree in mental health counseling or a closely related field.

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
