Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to determine clients' needs, strengths, and treatment goals, tailoring individualized treatment plans that facilitate effective therapeutic engagement.

• Facilitate both one-on-one and group therapy sessions, addressing a wide range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship dynamics, and self-esteem challenges.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to client care, sharing insights and resources to enhance treatment outcomes.

• Maintain detailed progress notes and treatment records in an electronic medical records (EMR) system to track client progress and enhance service delivery.

• Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in the field of mental health, actively participating in professional development opportunities within the organization.

• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary and ensure that clients have access to immediate support during challenging situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you'll serve are diverse, including adults, adolescents, and families from various backgrounds. Many individuals come to us facing significant emotional difficulties such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and major life transitions. As a counselor at our center, your work will directly contribute to their healing journeys, helping them to develop healthy coping mechanisms and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure in Arizona as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in mental health counseling, with a particular focus on treating individuals with emotional and psychological challenges.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport and trust with clients to foster a therapeutic environment.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is appreciated but not mandatory.
