Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify client concerns, establishing comprehensive and personalized treatment plans that align with best practices in mental health care.

• Facilitating one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness strategies, to ensure tailored support for each client's unique circumstances.

• Implement crisis intervention approaches for clients in distress, assessing safety risks and providing immediate support to foster stabilization.

• Engage in collaborative treatment with other mental health professionals and disciplines to ensure a comprehensive approach to care, including regular case consultations and team meetings.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential electronic medical records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, using electronic health record systems to track progress and document client interactions.

• Participate in regular professional development programs to stay updated with the latest research and effective techniques in the mental health field.

• Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving program offerings and client care, providing insights based on frontline experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily provide counseling services to adults grappling with a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma recovery, and relational issues. Your compassionate approach will ensure that clients from diverse backgrounds feel heard, respected, and understood, establishing a safe space for their journey toward healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of experience providing counseling or mental health services, particularly with individuals facing mental and emotional health challenges.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 52,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
