Work Environment

As an onsite Physical Therapist, you will conduct assessments and treatment primarily in home care settings, offering convenience and personalized attention to our patients. Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of essential tasks, including:

• Conducting thorough Physical Therapy evaluations for pediatric and adult clients, assessing mobility, strength, coordination, and overall functional capacity.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans designed to meet the specific goals and needs of each patient.
• Regularly reassessing clinical signs and symptoms to measure treatment progress and adjusting plans as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
• Completing all required clinical documentation, including SOAP notes and treatment summaries, promptly using our electronic health record systems.
• Educating patients and their families about rehabilitation expectations, recovery processes, and self-management techniques to empower their involvement in care.
• Meeting established utilization metrics to support clinic objectives and maintain operational efficiency.
• Engaging with colleagues from various therapeutic disciplines to provide integrated care for clients receiving multiple services.
• Acting as a representative and advocate for Physiocare's values and mission, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including children and adults from various backgrounds and with differing therapeutic needs. This includes patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions requiring long-term rehabilitation. By tailoring your approach to suit their cultural and individual preferences, you will enhance their journey toward recovery.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following credentials and attributes:

• A Bachelor's or higher degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, with a preference for candidates holding a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• Active and unrestricted licensure to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Willingness to perform evaluations and treatments both in-person and through telehealth platforms, when appropriate.
• Strong commitment to providing inclusive care across a diverse patient demographic.
• A capacity for adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic healthcare landscape.
• A collaborative spirit, with a focus on customer service excellence and positive patient engagement.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome newly licensed therapists, candidates with at least 1-2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in home care or multi-disciplinary teams, will be given preference. Familiarity with current physical therapy modalities and technologies will also be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including:
