Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite within the client's home, allowing you to deliver therapy directly in the environment where individuals feel most comfortable. Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy interventions towards preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring muscle function according to individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in implementing therapeutic techniques and ensure compliance with treatment protocols.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical capabilities and home environments to establish tailored rehabilitation strategies.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic exercises and guide clients in performing non-manual exercises, ensuring correct techniques to promote recovery.
• Manage the application of manual techniques such as traction and massage, along with physical agents like heat and cold therapy.
• Assess and recommend prosthetic and orthotic devices, collaborating with medical professionals to ensure optimal client functionality.
• Continually monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans in consultation with physicians and case managers.
• Document clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, and progress notes in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss comprehensive care strategies for clients, enhancing the collaborative approach to treatment.
• Educate clients and their families on physical therapy techniques, equipment usage, and home care strategies to support their recovery.
• Complete necessary administrative tasks, including timely documentation of clinical and payroll information as per branch policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population of patients requiring varied physical therapy services, including geriatric individuals recovering from surgeries, patients with chronic conditions, and those needing rehabilitation after acute medical events. Your role will be pivotal in delivering targeted therapies that foster independence and improve their daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist licensure for the state of New Jersey.
• CPR certification in good standing.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance are required.
• An assertive commitment to clinical excellence, quality care, and ethical practice.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in both acute care and home care settings.
• Experience in working within an interdisciplinary team and familiarity with electronic health records is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
