Work Environment

Located in the heart of Arlington, VA, our rehabilitation facility is designed to provide a supportive and engaging workspace. Our full-time physical therapists work on-site and are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and equipment to deliver the best patient care. The work schedule includes Monday to Thursday from 3 PM to 7 PM and a shorter shift on Friday, promoting a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments to determine the physical abilities and limitations of patients.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that outline measurable goals and objectives based on each patient's unique medical history and current conditions.
• Utilize various physical therapy techniques and modalities to treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities effectively.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment protocols, exercises, and rehabilitation processes, ensuring a clear understanding of care objectives.
• Regularly document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed in accordance with both healthcare regulations and departmental standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to deliver patient-centered care and ensure communication flows effectively.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and practice evidence-based care to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Supervise the work of physical therapy assistants and support staff, ensuring high standards of care and service delivery.
• Engage in continuing education to stay informed about the latest advancements in the field, thereby enhancing personal expertise and organizational integrity.
• Participate in operational duties as necessary, including department budgeting, scheduling, and mentoring of junior staff members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will deliver care across various age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Compensation and Benefits
