Work Environment

As part of a collaborative team that includes two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), you will work in an onsite rehabilitation center where innovation meets compassionate care. Our state-of-the-art equipment and resources enable you to implement the latest techniques and therapies in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. Your typical work schedule will run Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and address the specific objectives and requirements of each patient.
• Manage and maintain an efficient patient load, dedicating one hour per individual to ensure personalized care.
• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Employ cost-effective therapies to enhance patients' range of motion and mobility, with a strong emphasis on minimizing the reliance on medication.
• Develop personalized wellness and fitness programs based on each patient's unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain detailed documentation of services provided, patient progress, and treatment outcomes using EMR software, such as WebPT.
• Provide ongoing motivation and encouragement to patients throughout their treatment journey, helping them achieve their optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and integrated treatment approaches.
• Evaluate patient outcomes regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to promote recovery and achieve desired goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various physical ailments. We serve a wide demographic, tailoring our treatments to meet the diverse needs of our clientele. Our commitment to patient-centered care means you will have the opportunity to work closely with each individual, helping them regain their strength and independence through effective rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure a comprehensive understanding of advanced rehabilitation techniques.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.
• Experience using EMR software systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly valued, as this role demands a solid understanding of common musculoskeletal conditions.
• A background in sports medicine or rehabilitation can be beneficial for effectively treating diverse patients.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
